I did this just a few moments ago in the store to my 14 year old. If her little attitude doesn't improve she'll be over my knee when we get home.

Nancy, I have been known to give those gentle pats to the bottom as well. They quite often work well in reminding the recipient of what may be in store!

Same here, but I wish it was “safe” to handle it right then and there. Regardless of the location.

I don't think I've ever been really spanked in a store, but mom will smack our butts once or twice if she thinks we need it, and she'll do it HARD doesn't care who sees or hears

Without getting too specific, do you live in the south US?

Not really south but kinda. And in the country

Thanks, Michaela. From my limited online experiences is seems the further south people are the more open they are about spanking and kids get it a lot older than elsewhere.

I would agree with that fully!

I kinda sometimes get attitude still when out I'll get a warning like in words not too many swats in the store anymore lol... I do def at home still which sucks... when younger def a swat in the store!!! it happened A LOT!!! no one cared.
