I share the same stance as Tommy that anyone who makes junior members uncomfortable shouldn't be here. What I do find disturbing though that some of us who have been here for a couple years can't see it yet if someone registered and claimed they were a junior member they could potentially see it even if it was an adult posing as a junior member. That is a big trust issue. Junior Boys have their own forum as do Junior Girls to my knowledge and no adults can access them other than moderators and could use those if they didn't want the whole world to see it.
What if for example I ended up adopting a child? Or Got married and had a kid?

If the junior members want their own personal space, let them have it.
I think the proposal is that perhaps some adults who are not parents should be given access to the parents only section. I'm not opposed to that in principle, but I'm not sure how we could do that fairly. What would be the criteria? Who would nominate someone? If it's because that person offers good advice, aren't there ample other places to offer it?

A suggestion I can offer is that they need to have been a member for X amount of days. This is so they can't just register and immediately get access to it. I think it should be at least 3 months because that way consistency checks can be performed. It also deals with how many people seem to close their account within a month of registering. They also need to have posted on a certain number of different days so there is sufficient content to review to see how the member is.

Personally I think the parents only section should remain for parents only.
