Watching
#1
Do you ever see something that makes you think like Wow God is watching? I like to take pictures a lot and mostly of nature and when I do that is when I got to feeling close to God or not even God. It's confusing but it made this place inside of me feel empty and wanting to find out more about God. It's what got me to wondering about him and stuff.

So like I said I like to take pictures and the other night I took one that didn't turn out so good since I didn't use the right settings on my dad's camera but it's still there. It is God's eye. Smile Not his real eye you know but that is what I seen in it.

Have you ever seen something that made you stop and think Wow God is watching?
I hope God is real or else maybe I will get called schizophrenia or something like that. Blush

My dad says so what if he's not real as long as it gives people peace and purpose in life. I think he is probably right about that.

God exists where you feel Him. For me, it's often when I'm in the outdoors away from civilization. I can feel that way during a thunderstorm too. It's very personal and there is no wrong answer.

A priest once said, while winking 'the more prayerful I am, the more the Holy Spirit appears'....but he was being ironic. He was being deliberately tongue-in-cheek, really saying 'the Holy Spirit is ALWAYS there but the more prayerful I am, the more I open my mind to recognise the sustaining Spirit's actions'.

The thing with nature is when we look at it and see how amazing it is then you got to wonder how something could be so perfect if there isn't a God to think it all up. I like when the birds are coming out of there eggs and seeing the mama bird feeding them cause I think it makes me see how God cares for us.
I guess if I was going to be honest then maybe I would say a camera is my church at least in a way. Everything goes away except for that miracle I see in the lens. I don't think being in a building can beat that.

The Holy Spirit is something I have a hard time understanding. But the whole trinity can be confusing except somebody once told me to think of it like a mom because a mom is many things but still just one person called mom. So the more you pray the more you will get to know the Holy Spirit?

This priest would argue that it is the part of God that we label the Holy Spirit which infuses and enthuses us, that sustains us and that works God's purpose out through human heads, hearts and hands. It's just that prayerfulness might help us to recognise those actions.
He also said (laughing) that coincidence is often just the Holy Spirit's failure to hide it's actions!
