Suspicious Man
#1
Right now, we're a little shaken. Over the last three days, in our tiny village a stranger has approached children. Last Friday, it was 2 girls waiting for a bus to school. Saturday and Sunday, he invited kids to go with him to a big amusement park about six miles from here. All of these incidents were less than the a mile from our family residences (including mine), where we have dozens of children. Fortunately, the children in question ran to their homes, when he said something to them. He got into a red car and left. We don't let our younger kids walk to and from places on their own. But, we do let Lizzie and Ashleigh play freely around our property. Apparently this man is willing to walk into your yard.

We have our own day care at the big house with a fenced play area. Most of us only use it for care, while running errands or working a few hours. We've decided to let kids play there, unless we can be at their side. Ours will be here at home today, as we have no appointments, and can watch them.

Some people want to warn the kids. Others want to say nothing for a while, just guard the kids. They think it's unnecessary to frighten the kids, until we know more. It is our hope this person is found. Only then would we be certain, he's no longer a risk. Strangers are easier to spot here. Some of our mom's are going to be active around town today, visiting the park, walking the neighborhood, etc to see, if they recognize him or the red car.

There has been a rash of odd sightings in our three states. These are of a man (men?) in clown face hiding along the tree line. When spotted they run and hide in the forest. If you have any thoughts, glad to hear from you.Confused

Oh, the local police reported it to the public. That's how we first knew about it. I wasn't clear on that I see now. Thanks.

LOL, Sven. He's probably wearing boots against the snakes. They're looking for him. They even put it on the news in the city. Once he sees the media, he might move on. I'd rather they catch him. So we know for sure.Smile

Sven,

No one admires Mr Putin's politics or values. But, I'm sorry to tell you that Mr Putin, as a leader, has a higher approval rating more often, than President Obama, among the American people. He's viewed as strong and unafraid to take on power or weigh in for the Russian people. I think Mr Trump respects his strength, but isn't his friend. I doubt his respect for the opposition, posed by Mr Putin, causes him any loss of votes by Americans.

If anything, they might think Mr Trump knows what he's up against in Russia. And, that Mr Trump is equally as strong. Whether that's true or not doesn't necessarily matter. Most of Presidential politics is about how the people FEEL OR PERCEIVE a candidate as one of their own and the style of that leader. It's more about cheerleading and projecting an image of American values to outsiders. Then, there's functioning properly in the executive role of the government, which is not a lawmaker or judge.

America has been at war, one way or another for 150 odd years. The President is the Commander and Chief. Millions upon millions of people here have no concept of life elsewhere. They cannot locate the Mideast on a map. They're not sure who's our own Vice President. They live in their state or city focused on their own life and region. They rely on the Federal government to take care "of all of that." Shy

I never said I was a fan of Donald Trump, Sven. I'm not. But I also know enough about Hillary Clinton to know that the woman belongs behind bars - for life. This election is has been a disaster for America, and the next four years will almost certainly be torturous for us regardless of who wins. Dodgy

You're a great kid, Sven. Heart If more Americans were as informed as you are the world would be a better place. It's true a leader of a nation is the mirror of its people. Americans are so detached from politics, that less than half even vote routinely.

They get there knowledge from short media clips. They know Putin through his propaganda machine. He has a television network called RT, a news channel in English broadcast in America. A lot of people don't even know it's Russian. Everyone on air looks and acts American. But, that's not everybody. He is also sly about creeping into the mainstream media outlets. Over here, we are separated by vast oceans and are heavily armed. Russia can't invade anything. In Europe, he's next door. Most Americans are just as snug as a bug in a rug. Everything is an opinion, because they have no CONCRETE threat in their lives.

Right now we are involved in a struggle of equality in our domestic lives. A new commercial age, begun with rapidly growing technology, has shaken a very strong economic growth pattern. Social evolution is key in a lot of disruption. Social media is operating in small special groups, who seek real equity. We're struggling to fashion a new domestic environment. Our national identity is having a hiccup. Our melting pot of cultures is about to boil over.

You remind me of our Lisbeth. She's passionate about our future. She'd spend her break advocating and informing. I'm not too worried about America, no matter what. Lady Liberty 🗽 is shaping a new generation fired and formed into the finest steel, who will take the power of this new era and forge ahead.

We're just in the melt down currently. According to social scientists in America, it only takes an active 10% of any entity in the U.S. to make it a success. I'm certain there are enough Svens and Lisbeths out there to forge forward. Their time is around the corner. Smile
