Good point. You'd hope that people could see that attitude by their actions.

Exactly.

John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

I am a Christian. I am also a Buddhist, a Jew, a Muslin and any other religious affiliation you can name. The message is always the same in any religion. You realize that you don’t need to label “it”. You are it. Every spiritual teacher taught the same thing. Unfortunately few of us get it. And unfortunately religion has distorted the original teachings. But then again it is a journey!

You're a spiritual person, not defined by a particular religion.

I don't agree with everything in the Catholic church but I like the tradition and the feeling of belonging to a community.....a smaller corner of the world feeling.

I attend the United Church of Canada which is a Christian Church. I have close friends there and we socialize outside of Church on a regular basis. I also attend a Bible Study there and a book study as well as facilitate a group on spiritually. Next to my family my Church is paramount in my life. It is something I enjoy but I of course realize Church is not for everybody. To each his own!

My stepdad is very spiritual but he doesn't have any affiliation with a church. I personally need that sense of community.

I like church too. I like the music part of it. I don't like virtual church.
