My brother Mark

Mark played football for our school. He is going to be recognized at graduation as a scholar-athlete. He is the graduating athlete with the highest GPA.

I am proud of him!

That is awesome! My son is also graduating with honors and is off to his first choice school in the fall to study geology under a very eminent professor. We are so excited for him. It is going to be expensive though. He did get some scholarship money, but it is still obnoxious how much it costs to educate someone. We are happy to do it though. We are fortunate to be financially comfortable and he's more than earned it. Smile

Congrats to you guys and to your son! You are so right. Marky and I both have scholarships but it still doesn't cover it. We are fortunate. Our grandfather was well off and he left an education trust for all of us grand kids in his will. I miss Grandad so much. I'd rather have him than the trust fund. Besides if he were still here he would have helped out anyway. He died suddenly 2 years ago at age 65 from a stroke. I wish he could see us graduate. Heart
