I see this hasn’t been updated for a while. I appreciate society no longer accept this method as discipline but wondered if others had other sources of reference

I think families still spank but darent discuss it openly.
Which is a ridiculous situation , as we all try to bring up responsible law abiding young girls and boys , who respect adults and rules .
One problem is parents who want to be friends instead of parents to their children
