Prayer Power - Rosie - 12-02-2020

Do you think some prayers are more powerful then others are?

Like if you have a bunch of people praying for one thing like somebody getting better do you think it is more powerful then one person praying for somebody to get better?
I have a friend whos dad is sick with the covid and so I put him up on a prayer wall and so far 15 people are praying for him. Do you think God will listen better the more people who are praying and I should put him up on other prayer walls to?

I did prayer walls one time before and it was for two different prayer walls but for the same person to be okay and not sick and I thought it worked only it was for a female thing and she ended up being a man so that does not count and God gets no credit for that one and I even said later on the prayer wall thank you to God and everything. Rolleyes He must of been rolling his eyes.

So do you think I should do another prayer wall or is God going to listen just as good with me and 15 other people praying for her dad?

I'm just trying to figure it all out to. My mom and dad left it up to all of us to decide how we want to believe and if we even want to believe so I'm a lot behind all the kids in my class.

Prayer is nothing more than talking to God.
God hears all prayers, Rosie. Is he more likely to answer a prayer if a lot of people are praying? I don't think so. A purpose for many praying is so that when a prayer is answered it is actually answered for many people and that brings greater glory to God. However, if there is someone who is desperately in need of God's help and goes to him with a sincere prayer and the belief that the prayer will be answered, I have no doubt God hears that prayer just as loudly as he hears the prayers of a hundred people joined together for a single cause.
Pray and believe that God will answer your prayer but remember he will not always give you the answer you want from him. Sometimes God has to say no just like any other loving parent sometimes has to say no.
I will pray for your friend's father.

Do you know what makes God a perfect parent? He never wants us to shut up. He wants us to talk his ear off. My dad and aunt will tell me to be "quiet for just five minutes so I can hear myself think" but God can think and listen to us. We're supposed to pray unceasingly so I figure we're supposed to just talk to God all the time about even the silliest things.
I had a teacher who used to say that when our class prayed for something it was like a symphony for God instead of being a single flute. I liked the picture that put in my head. A flute is beautiful all by itself but put it a french horn or clarinet or harp and it becomes a wow. I guess I think many people praying for the same thing is the wow factor in prayer.
I'll pray for your friend's dad. It must be a scary time for her too. I'll help make the wow factor.

I like what you guys said. Today in my email I got more messages saying someone is praying for my friend and her dad and that is such a nice feeling. People who don't know her or me will care enough to pray. It makes the world feel nicer you know?
