Lol. Micky Rooney was fortunate he looked so young. He got roles playing a teenager even though he was a young adult. He was a major movie star along with Shirley Temple back in the thirties and forties.

Both Mickey and Judy were abused by the movie producers as children. They were over worked and underpaid. Back then children had little rights on the movie set. Judy became an alcoholic and lost custody of her children. Mickey had problems with relationships and was married eight times! A great movie is “Judy†on the last days of her life playing on Grave.

I saw a documentary on Judy Garland, and I concur with everything Garth says. Kids had no rights on the movie set. As part of the abuse Judy was given all kinds of drugs to keep her from gaining too much weight etc. It was a very abusive environment. It sounds like Mickey didn't fare much better.
