School Corporal Punishment In Tennessee

I would have died and maybe never forgiven my parents if they put my butt on display like this kid's mother did.
I live in a state that does not allow corporal punishment (thank you Lord) but my mother is a teacher and she believes schools would have fewer behavior problems if corporal punishment was allowed. I still can't see my mother leaving any kid's butt bruised like that. In NYS bruising like that done by a parent would be deemed abusive. Maybe they should look into getting a backscratcher like my mother uses, stings like the dickens but doesn't really bruise.
