Are you like me? Have you found yourself reading a post by a member, and wish you knew what their perspective and background is so their post can be more easily put in context? That happens to me all the time - particularly when I come across a comment made by a member who hasn't done a lot of posting. So I plan to do something about it.

I have noticed that the custom signature feature available on our board is rarely utilized. In the coming days (weeks?), I plan to add a brief signature to each member account. This signature will only feature details that have been shared publicly on the forum by the member in question - no confidential information will appear there.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW if there is any information that you would like added and/or corrected to your signature.

I have no idea how long this project will take. I plan to start with members who have made the most postings, and then work my way down the list from there.

I think that this will help us get to know each other better - at a glance - as we read various postings made by other members of our household.
