Thanks, Sven. I like the evening cut off. We're going to try that. Smile

It probably reminds him of a certain ex England manager lol Big Grin I know it reminds me of him anyway as he is the only other Sven I know of! I guess he is much better known in England than Holland though. I don't think there are too many famous Connor's, there is a Premier league footballer but I think that's it. Undecided

I'm sort of lucky that my parents don't fuss too much about electronics. I think that's because I don't usually use them all day and I do spend loads of time outside as well. But then I do have a laptop, tablet and phone so pretty much any time I'm not outside I spend in front of a screen of some sort

I guess that's good and bad in different ways - like I'm pretty good at computers and can use them really well and do stuff quick. But I don't have skills that older people do - I HATE having to write stuff manually, my wrist hurts really bad if I have to write anything more than a couple of lines. But we do most things at school on laptops or tablets so I don't usually have to.

That's nice, Sven. But they're younger. We're trying to let them have MORE time. Just looking for boundaries. I like this one. Because it supports family time after dinner. They can always get permission if the situation warrants.

And one young lady of only ten and her friend were trying to defeat the filters and the server sent a message to granddad. She just got a lecture this time. He wasn't sure she completely understood, the filters are their for a reason. But, anymore tampering, she's on warning for a spanking..

There are a couple of older kids here that haven't thought of doing that. I hope it was unintentional, but this one has a reputation for testing every limit she meets. The way kids are today, she may have known full well what she was up to. But, that's behind us now. She won't get by with it, if she's trying. Grandad is a retired information systems manager. She doesn't seem to grasp what that means.

I appreciate your thoughts. If you have any ideas for us, I'm all ears.Tongue

What a silly mistake! Can I teach her to do it properly? :p
