WOW! Look what we did!

WOW... When I first started putting together this little board, I couldn't even fathom that in just over 3 years, it would be this active and kicking - and celebrating its 25,000th post! Big Grin

I want to thank all the members, both past and present, who have contributed to this milestone. I also want to thank our moderation team for keeping things running during my extended absence from the board. A very special thank you goes out to Mike, who has been the head of the house all this time as well. We wouldn't be here without you. Heart

This board, in spite of its flaws and the bumps in the road it has survived, has become what I envisioned from the beginning - a friendly place where we could share our views and family values in a safe environment. A place that is a rarity on the Internet - one that advocates for families who believe in the practice loving and non-abusive corporal punishment, even in the face of a mainstream press that tries to make them feel guilty for their tried and true methods of child rearing. A place where friendships are formed and support is given. Heart

This home has room for improvement, and I believe it will continue to positively evolve. But to see how far we have come... Wow... I am so proud. Big Grin

Here's to the next 25,000!
