I can eat both cabbage and spinach raw but not if they have been cooked. Don't like soggy stuff Sad

Strange! I really love liver (but am not supposed to eat it because it contains purines).

But then I like most foods. (The only thing I detested eating was a sheep's eye [seriously] but had to eat it as it was a delicacy where I was staying, and I didn't want to offend. It was really disgusting!)

Other strange foods i have tried include Crocodile, Scorpion, Bull testicle, fried Sparrow and Dog; amongst others.

You would've been good at the game show Fear Factor when that used to be on. Frequently one of the challenges would involving eating stuff like that.

Glad I'm not the only one! In my case it was Tanzania. Maybe the cooking wasn't ideal (East Africans aren't noted for their cuisine) but it was at once both crunchy and squishy.

I too have eaten dog (Thailand) and enjoyed it, and bull's testicle (Spain) which was only so-so. While in Tza I also tried python (tasty, a bit like frog's legs, which I like) and hippo (beefy, coarse texture) which was being farmed experimentally at the time and wild boar - more like beef than pork, strangely.

And I'll probably upset some people, but I very much like horse, and will always choose that when I see it. Delicious!

1. Most organ meats. I'm a nurse, I know what the kidneys and liver do.
2. Cooked greens (e.g. spinach). Raw greens are great and I like big mixed salads.
3. Cooked okra, unless breaded and fried. Slimy. Sad
4. Sauerkraut, kimchi, and other fermented vegetation.

I don't like lima beans. I grew up with a vegetarian mother who later went full on vegan. so the veggie replacement stuff I have eaten, but I don't enjoy. stuff like Tofu should be banned as child abuse.
