God And Spanking
#1
I never have considered myself a religious person even though I attend Church every week. I guess I don’t really believe in labels. I do consider life to be my spiritual practice and children have been a main part of that life. Spanking too can be a spiritual practice. Not from the point of view of the Bible but from the experience it provides as a loving and caring way of raising your children. To be in the present moment when you spank is all that matters. This can be measured by the cessation of thought and absence of any negetive emotions. Our egos separate us from God. What bonds us to both God and our children is the Kingdom of Heaven as Jesus put it. It can happen naturally with all your interactions with your kids even if it is because you have to discipline them. When you know this there will be no anger or resentment but pure love, compassion and forgiveness when you spank. You can trust God to guide you to do the right thing with loving kindness and of course faith.
