How do you post a picture in this group?
I've been trying to post a picture from my computer on the site. It won't cut and paste into a posting. I tried putting it on Photobucket and using the link I keep, but I keep getting a message that says. "User ID not found ..."

I know this is not that difficult. What am I missing?

Photobucket no longer is free I believe or you get limited bandwidth. Many people are using imgur now.

For the above I copy the link then put the brackets around it.

Worked for the above picture to. Not sure if it works for non imgur links.

But it does if you download and post your photo on the imgur app then copy the link.

Use the upload attachment link, then use the button to insert the attachment in the post.

I will post more detailed instructions.

Okay. I figured it out at last. The pictures don't show in a preview and you get an error message. It is as simple as I thought it was.

Yes, the preview option on this board seems to have serious and irrevocable errors.

That was part of the problem. I kept getting an "Invalid ID" error.

The other part was my attempt to use PhotoBucket. Even beyond the preview, it didn't work at all.

Changing to Imagur solved my problem.
