While we're talking about annoying things, there's one from built in to the forum (Not Michael's fault or choice) that really bugs me. When you log in or click on "View New Posts" or "View Today's Posts" you get "Your search has been submitted and you will now be taken to the results. Click here if you don't want to wait"

Why would ANYONE, EVER want to wait for the results of their search? Just give the results without the stupid pause. I promise, if I don't want to see them I won't search in the first place!

LOL good point. I never really thought about it, but yes, it IS annoying! Dodgy

It's like placing an order at the drive-thru, only to be asked "Do you want fries with that?" Umm... no, if I wanted fries, I would have asked for fries! Rolleyes

The manager makes them ask, they call it upselling. When you order a breakfast sandwich and you get asked, "would you like to make it a meal with hash browns and coffee?" they get major brownie points if they're good at it. One national food chain in Canada rewards good upsellers with points that can be traded for merchandise. Hey they're just trying to make a living too Smile
