Redirecting?

I keep being redirected as well. Can't anyone contact the board site about it?

I will check in on this with the board managers; this might be related to the ads, so it might require renewing the subscriptions so someone will need to fund it.

We can fix the ads easily if someone is willing to spend about $120 for a year or $12 per month. The link below would remove that for everyone, but I think one of us is gonna have to pay Create My BB.

We will look into this, I think Michael used to handle this.

When it redirects, I switch from mobile view to desktop view. It doesn't redirect after I switch to desktop.

If using Chrome on a PC, you can install the Skip Redirect extension. For the mobile Chrome app, I have found a more drastic solution. I went into the settings and disabled JavaScript. That immediately solved the problem for me. The site seems to work fine without JavaScript too. It may effect other sites though, so if you do this on mobile, you may have to see if your phone settings let you blacklist JavaScript for just createmybb3.com specifically.

Thanks!

It is an unfortunate problem. Hopefully, it will be fixed eventually.

The money solution would definitely resolve it; Michael was able to eliminate all ads.

Gee, Tommy, if only there was one of us that knew anything about computers.....

The appearance of ads occurred after Michael transferred the group. I'm not sure if he was paying the annual no ads fee or not, but he may have been. The hosting site may not have even had ads at that time.

If you're using a PC and actually have the problem, may I refer you to the post above from Matt with the solution for PCs? I've never had the problem with my PC, but that may have something to do with it not being a Mac. It's primarily a Mac problem.

If you have a Mac and want to solve the problem, contact Anymouse and arrange the e-transfer to pay to have the ads removed or get a PC.

If only somebody had investigated this...

If you're detecting a tad of sarcasm here, yeah, I do feel a bit insulted. We all investigated this problem, including Kyle, and even those of us with extensive computer/IT backgrounds reached the same conclusion. Bring in all the "experts" you want and they will too. It can be solved by money. If you want to pay, speak up.

I'm sorry.
