Katie, I am sure you'll do what's best for your girls. You are a wonderful mom and Maddie and Olivia are very lucky girls.

I know you'll be able to handle it Ms Kaitie. You know what you're doing.

Once again, congratulations!

Yes, I know he can and will handle it when he's here, and anything huge (like belt worthy) would almost 100% definately be him. I'm not thrilled, nervous about it, etc, but it doesn't feel unnatural or whatever. He's basically my Dad.

Meanwhile, I haven't gotten a spanking from anyone since the late night one mom talked about elsewhere on the forum. At my age it mostly isn't as common for me (though I did have a streak during early days of quarantine). Dad has warned me a couple of times, but that's about it.

As for Olivia calling mom mom, and me calling Troy Dad, I think its helped by a few things. Yes she's Olivia's stepmom, but Olivia's bio mom has been dead for the better part of a decade. I don't mean that crassly, nor do I mean it to suggest that everyone in that situation would call their steppparent mom (many understandably wouldn't). But it still makes it different than treating your stepmom like a 100% bio mom while you have a bio mom alive and active in your life. As for me, as you all know I grew up with my dad not really in my life, and then a very unstable bio mom, which eventually led Kaitie to adopt me before my bio mom later passed.....I've kind of craved a normal family dynamic my whole life, and now I have it, so bloodlines aren't my major concentration

Glad things are going so well for you! It sounds like it's been a really positive transition. Have you moved yet or are you in the throes of organizing and packing everything?
