my old sister told me i am not allowed to make a trillian account it is only for adults. she has one i know she uses it but, she is 21, but on here i have read stuff i think some of the people that have one, are not adults, so is it true, if i am 14 i am really not allowed? or what. Huh

No Jaxon anyone 13 and older can have an account but I suggest before you sign up you get permission.

Jaxon, she may not know the actual Trillian rules. It may have easily been a simple mistake rather than a deliberate lie.

I don't know what's fair. Different parents have different rules. She's no doubt motivated by concerns for your safety and wellbeing. I am sure she is not trying to be unfair. It might be your mum doesn't fully understand what Trillian is or what it involves. Maybe you could explain it to her. You could also offer to give her the password so she can monitor your chats if she wants to.

I think it's fair for you to need to respect your family's internet safety rules, even if not everyone your age has the same rules.

I agree with Rebecca honey, Trillian isn't safe for kids imo.
