Facebook Parenting Group
#1
I am sharing this information if anyone is interested in other parenting groups besides this one.

There is another group out there that I like as well, called Traditional loving and firmly guiding parenting. It is a Facebook group, so there is less privacy, but it has a similar tone to this one and I think it isn't a bad place to discuss things as well if anyone here is interested in a similar forum with more of the Facebook style.

It is, of course, a Real Name group, so not everyone here would be comfortable I am sure. And it is primarily a parenting forum, not a teen forum. I would say it has a good mix of mothers and fathers.

Or if one of his friends see that its a group he belongs to and then goes and looks at it. Parents shouldn't do this kind of stuff to there kids. Keep it private like it is here.

I do personally like the emphasis on real name groups, it reduces the presence of fake users and is much more like a real life school, church, or neighborhood setting.

I would be pretty embarrassed if my dad was found on that forum or my aunt and one of my friends happened to find it. But I agree it is nice to have more of an assurance that people are who they claim to be. Still there are fake people on Facebook too, and those pesky Russians are there too and that was a JOKE.
