Does God ever change?

Yes, but He is a God of judgement in the New Testament as well. For example:

"If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think a man deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God under foot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified him, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," and again, "The Lord will judge his people." It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God" (Heb. 10:26-31).

But that is between God and 1 person and not God killing lots of people. Like in Exodus were all the first born babies got killed by the angel of death unless they had blood on there doorway.

There's plenty of examples of God judging the nations, and judging Israel specifically. The Olivet discourse is a good example, not to mention the Book of Revelation. The point is, God's character is consistent throughout the Bible as far as His love and judgement are concerned.

I suppose people think so because Jesus' mission and ministry was one of love in bringing about salvation. Christianity puts an emphasis on God's love. But that love is in response to the problem of sin, which would condemn us according to God's judgement.

You do not believe in God? Or do you just want more proof how my dad does?

For me God is not a belief but a knowing. As the Bible says “Be still and know God”. Or as Jesus says “ God is the peace that passes all understanding “. Buddha simply describes God as an awareness. Beliefs are relative. God is absolute. Once you awaken you never doubt God’s existence again. The awareness becomes your anchor. We could also refer to this as faith!

I don’t really believe in much of anything. My guess is after you die you return to your Source. Just my opinion for what it’s worth! Lol

I would be happy if there was no Hell, but I want for Heaven to be real. To be honest, I don't know whether or not God is real. I hope He is, but I'm not sure.
